This picture of what is a light painting reinterpretation of the Loch Nes monster. Its different to what you would expect a picture of the monster because its taken in a local field with houses in the background. Lichfaktor has created a modern interpretation of the monster in a urban area instead of a natural lake. To take this picture they would have needed a tripod for the camera because the shutter speed would have been very long (about 10 seconds) in able to draw the monster. I don't like this picture that much because i think it is very simple for Lichfaktor where they normally have very exciting pictures.
This picture is of a light painting in a 3D green and white LED torch. This picture has a very dark background this makes it unimportant to the rest of the picture so that the light trail is always the main focus. The light trail is made interesting by the way it was moved was not just up, down, left and right but it also goes forward and backwards, it joins the picture at the top left corner and moves backwards and right till it stops but it doesn't just go in a straight line it moves in all directions! The movement of the LED torch makes the light trail like a lot of long streaks. i find this light trail very interesting and inspiring and hope to take a picture using similar techniques. |
